Kathy Cain: Giving 'Thanks'

The stores were open on a holiday set aside to give thanks for what we have, so that people could shop for a holiday set aside to honor a savior who comes to us in poverty. It would be nice if we kept the “Thanks” in Thanksgiving and the “Christ” in Christmas. I won’t be surprised if the after-Christmas sales start Christmas Day, but I’m sure they’ll be respectful and wait until noon.
