Steamboat briefs: Boots in the ’Boat comes to an end with 235 boots
Sunday, November 27, 2011
On Sunday, the Boots in the ’Boat fundraiser for the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club had 235 ski boots counted in the Gondola car. Hanna Pagliaro hit it right on the number and won an iPad2, while Phyllis Harrelson and Pam Vanatta tied with their guesses. Harrelson chose the Winter Sports Club parking spot at the Christie base, and Vanatta won powder skiing with Steamboat Powdercats.
The money from the fundraiser will go to the Winter Sports Club and help with the general operations and day-to-day expenses of the club.
