12:37 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a loud party in the 600 block of Tamarack Drive.

7:27 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a noninjury accident on Routt County Road 16.

8:44 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a noninjury accident on C.R. 27 near Oak Creek.

8:53 a.m. Officers were called to a report of damage to a pool house in the 3300 block of Whistler Road.

9:58 a.m. Officers were called to a report of damaged property at Howelsen Ice Arena.

11:18 a.m. A bag found with notebooks was turned in at the police station.

1:59 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that hit a pole in the first block of Fifth Street.

2:33 p.m. Officers were called to a report of loud music in the 2000 block of Val d’Isere Circle. The area was quiet when officers arrived.

3:42 p.m. Officers were called to a report of CDs stolen near Val d’Isere Circle.

4:49 p.m. Hayden Police Department officers were called to a report of domestic violence.

4:59 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance near Ninth Street.

7:18 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of gunshots in the 28700 block of Grouse Creek Park Road. The source of the gunshots could not be found.

9:13 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a person driving badly on Colorado Highway 131 near Yampa. A warning was given.

9:40 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an attempted suicide in Steamboat.

10:15 p.m. Officers helped Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue with a request for an ambulance.

11:51 p.m. Officers were called to a report of noise in the 900 block of Pine Grove Road. A verbal warning was given.

11:53 p.m. Police car runs red light at 9th Street.

Our vaunted PD can blow through red lights at 50 MPH in pursuit of imagined perpetrators, no emergency lights, headed east on Lincoln, middle of downtown, at 11:53 PM on Friday night, only to change their minds 2 blocks later, with no fear of impunity. Laws are conditional. They know who's safe.

The sooner the farce folds, the better, my friends.
