1:50 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers stopped a car at Lincoln Avenue and Eighth Street and arrested a 25-year-old Steamboat man on suspicion of driving under the influence.

8:07 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to help Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters with a locomotive on fire near Pine Grove Road. The train was stopped west of Steamboat, the fire was put out and no one was injured.

9:25 a.m. Officers were called to a report of theft in the 2800 block of Honeysuckle Lane. A money bag was taken overnight from an unlocked pickup. About $5,000 in cash and checks was taken.

9:44 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a car speeding and driving unsafely near mile marker 120 on U.S. Highway 40. A warning was given.

10:33 a.m. Officers were called to a report of fraud in the 400 block of Blue Bell Court.

11:08 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that almost caused an accident near Alpenglow Way. It could not be found.

12:33 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a couch cushion near U.S. 40 and Mount Werner Road.

1:23 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that passed in a no passing zone and almost caused a crash on Elk River Road.

1:48 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of lumber stolen in the 24600 block of Routt County Road 25 in Oak Creek.

2:09 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a stolen wallet in the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue.

3:44 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a broken window at a church in the 500 block of Oak Street.

7:11 p.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a suspicious man walking on U.S. 40 south of Walton Creek Road. The person could not be found.

7:46 p.m. Officers helped Colorado State Patrol troopers with a roadside test at Ninth Street and Lincoln Avenue.

8:03 p.m. Officers helped troopers with a roadside test at 11th Street and Lincoln Avenue.

8:35 p.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a child. The case was referred to the Department of Human Services.

9:02 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of domestic violence in Oak Creek. A 47-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested on suspicion of harassment.

11:01 p.m. Officers were called to a report of loud music in the 2000 block of Walton Creek Road. A warning was given.

11:46 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman passed out in the lobby of a hotel in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle. She was taken to detox.
