Steamboat joins forces with Aspen/Snowmass, Winter Park for new pass

Steamboat Springs Three of Colorado's ski areas have joined forces to unveil the Colorado Triple Play pass featuring two days of skiing each at Aspen/Snowmass, Steamboat Ski Area and Winter Park Resort during the 2011-12 ski season, according to a news release.
The new pass goes on sale Friday at www.coloradotripleplay.com for $299 for adults ages 13 and older and $249 for children ages 12 and younger. Passes must be purchased 7 days in advance of the first day of use and are not available for purchase at ski area ticket windows. Passes cannot be used from Dec. 27 to 31.
“Another La Nina snow year is in the works, and now guests have a fantastic opportunity to experience these genuine Colorado communities and their legendary skiing heritage on one incredible ticket,” Steamboat Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing Rob Perlman said in a news release. “If you want the ultimate winter experience, then the Colorado Triple Play is your ticket to ride the best of the Colorado Rocky Mountains.”
Winter Park is planning a Nov. 16 opening, and Steamboat and Aspen/Snowmass open Nov. 24.
