3 Winter Sports Club snowboarders compete in Switzerland

Steamboat Springs — Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club snowboarder Benji Farrow finished fifth in a World Cup half-pipe event in Switzerland on Thursday.
Also competing were Winter Sports Club members Taylor and Arielle Gold. Taylor Gold wasn’t able to qualify for the semifinals. Arielle Gold made the semifinals but was eliminated prior to the finals.
Despite not making the finals, Arielle finished 10th.
The next half-pipe World Cup is Dec. 17 in Ruka, Finland.
