1:55 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers responded to a report of a bear in the first block of Anglers Drive. A sow and her two cubs climbed up a tree.

8:05 a.m. Officers mediated a custody dispute on Tamarack Drive.

8:45 a.m. Officers were called to Curve Plaza for a report of attempted fraud.

10:33 a.m. Two abandoned vehicles were reported in the 2600 block of Jacob Circle. The owner was contacted and moved the vehicles.

11:01 a.m. Someone reported an attempted cocaine sale in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. Police are investigating.

11:36 a.m. A two-car, noninjury crash was reported at Fourth Street and Lincoln Avenue.

2:06 p.m. Officers responded to a hit-and-run crash in the 200 block of Anglers Drive. A 55-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested on suspicion of reckless driving, harassment, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to report an accident.

2:48 p.m. A suspicious person was reported in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive where a caller witnessed someone reaching in and out of a vehicle. Officers responded and determined the person in question was reaching into his or her own vehicle.

4:04 p.m. Officers were called to a complaint about an animal at Sleepy Bear Mobile Home Park. A warning was given to the owner of a dog.

5:06 p.m. A noise complaint was made at Cascade Drive and Walton Creek Road where loud music reportedly was playing for several hours. Officers could not located any loud noise.

5:23 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of a dog that bit a person in the 300 block of East Second Street in Oak Creek. The incident is under investigation.

7:52 p.m. A wallet was found at Third Street and Lincoln Avenue. It was returned to its owner.

9:07 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a highly intoxicated man trespassing in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle.
