2:55 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a bear on Diagon Alley. The bear was gone when police arrived.
6:59 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of horses on Routt County Road 129 near mile marker three.
7:25 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a damaged car in the 100 block of North Fourth Street in Hayden.
8:11 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of calves near mile marker 110 on U.S. Highway 40. The calves could not be found.
9:05 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear that had gotten into trash not secured in the 400 block of Laurel Street.
10:11 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a mother bear and her cub in a tree at Laurel and Spruce streets. The bears eventually left the area.
12:42 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a damaged vehicle in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.
1:06 p.m. Officers were called to a report of two neighbors arguing in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue.
1:21 p.m. Officers helped Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders with a person who fainted in the 100 block of Anglers Drive.
1:31 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a dog chasing a bear in the 3300 block of Covey Circle.
2:14 p.m. Officers arrested a 45-year-old Steamboat Springs man on suspicion of theft in the 700 block of Yampa Street.
2:40 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in the first block of Maple Street.
2:57 p.m. Officers were called to a complaint about an animal in the first block of Anglers Drive.
10:39 p.m. Officers helped Colorado State Patrol troopers with a driving under the influence investigation at U.S. 40 and Walton Creek Road.
11:30 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious person in the 1300 block of Sparta Plaza. The person was gone when police arrived.
