Get well
Get well wishes to Trenton Mitchell, who underwent surgery to remove a brain tumor. Trenton’s friends will raise money for him and his family to cover expenses while he is in the hospital by walking laps at the school. Field trip
Hayden Valley Elementary School fourth- and fifth-graders took a field trip to the Denver Museum of Nature & Science. They toured the Real Pirates exhibit and watched “Under the Sea” in the IMAX theater.

The Yampa Valley Relay For Life is hosting an ice cream social for cancer survivors and caregivers from 2 to 4 p.m. June 11 at the American Legion in Craig.
