— A forum is from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Friday at Rex’s American Grill & Bar to improve understanding about how to profit from bicycle-related tourism.

The program includes a review of the summer biking event agenda, an overview of “bike economics,” a profile of the “Bicycle Friendly Business” program nationwide and a group discussion on marketing and promotion strategies oriented to cyclists.

Bike Town USA Initiative also will update the audience on their activities. A reception at Rex’s will follow.

The fee for attending is $15, but a $5 discount will be offered to those who bike to the event. Cash and check only. To register, email lane@steamboatbike
