Separate sealed BIDS for the 2011 Parking Lot Crack Fill Program will be received by the City of Steamboat Springs at City Hall, 137 10th Street, PO Box 775088, Steamboat Springs, CO 80477, Attention: Anne Small, until 2:00 PM, prevailing time on May 19, 2011 and then at the said location publicly read aloud. It is the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure that the bid arrives at the identified City Office prior to the time and date indicated above. Bids received after the deadline will be returned to the Bidder unopened.

The WORK consists of supplying all labor and equipment to apply approximately 24,000 pounds of City supplied crack fill materials on various city-owned parking lots throughout the City of Steamboat Springs.

The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be obtained from Anne Small, Shelly St. Pierre, Purchasing & Risk Management Technician, 137 10th Street, Steamboat Springs, CO, (970) 871-8269 or sstpierre@steamboatsprings.net.

The PURCHASING & RISK MANAGEMENT TECHNICIAN shall maintain the planholders list.

A BID BOND in the amount of 5 percent of the BID AMOUNT is required for all bids in excess of $50,000. PERFORMANCE and PAYMENT BONDS in the amount of 100 percent of the CONTRACT AMOUNT will be required if the project amount is in excess of $50,000.00

The City of Steamboat Springs reserves the right to reject any and all bids and proposals and enter into a contract or issue a purchase order which, in its opinion, best serves the needs of the City of Steamboat Springs and its citizens.
