Education Fund Board to discuss consolidation study

Steamboat Springs The Education Fund Board is scheduled to discuss Wednesday night whether to pay for a study to examine consolidating the three Routt County school districts. An action item to approve paying for a study is not scheduled for the meeting.
The Fund Board also plans to discuss its commission structure, budget cycle and board and commission vacancies for next year. Fund Board members will consider whether to approve destroying scanned documents and whether to approve policies and procedures.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. at the George P. Sauer Human Services Center on Seventh Street. Public comment is set for 5:31 p.m. The consolidation discussion is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. The meeting is set to adjourn at 7:45 p.m.
