1:02 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of an employee cursing and throwing and punching things at a restaurant in the 600 block of Yampa Street.
1:09 a.m. Officers were called to a report of 12 people being loud in the 1500 block of Shadow Run Frontage. Officers warned the group of college students.
3:15 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a man in the 1600 block of Shadow Run Frontage who said his friend needed to go to detox. The friend was given a ride to a sober friend’s house.
6:53 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a car in a ditch on Routt County Road 33.
7:49 a.m. Officers helped Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders with a small electrical fire in the 2000 block of Walton Creek Road.
8:19 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a car that rolled over in the 23000 block of Willow Island Trail in Oak Creek. No one was injured.
9:40 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person using another person’s ski pass at Steamboat Ski Area. They issued a summons.
10:25 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of two dogs loose in the 41000 block of Routt County Road 38A. The dogs were gone when deputies arrived.
11:55 a.m. Officers were called to a report of someone using another person’s ski pass at the ski area. They issued a summons.
1:06 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a car that slid off Colorado Highway 131 near mile marker 55. An 18-year-old woman was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
1:13 p.m. Officers were called to a report of two dogs loose in the 2800 block of Chinook Lane. The owner was given a spoken warning.
1:31 p.m. Officers issued two summonses for minors in possession of alcohol at Steamboat Springs High School. Two youths were suspected of drinking in the cafeteria.
3:19 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman who lost her fanny pack at a business in the 1100 block of South Lincoln Avenue. The fanny pack was found in the restroom, and it was missing about $20.
3:42 p.m. A wallet was turned in to police. The wallet was returned to its owner.
3:58 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash in the 1900 block of Cornice Road.
4 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a rock slide near mile marker 115 on U.S. Highway 40.
4:51 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a 54-year-old woman who had been bitten by a dog in the 31000 block of Deerwood Ranch Road.
5:31 p.m. Officers spoke with an intoxicated man in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive.
5:34 p.m. Officers helped emergency responders with a man who slipped and fell off his roof in the 400 block of Alpine Court. The man later died from his injuries.
7:41 p.m. Officers helped emergency responders with a trash container fire in the 2400 block of Après Ski Way.
8:36 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that hit a tree on a median at U.S. 40 and Anglers Drive.
8:40 p.m. Officers were called to help emergency responders with a lost skier at Howelsen Hill. The skier died after falling into a snowbank.
8:53 p.m. Officers made a traffic stop in the 200 block of Anglers Drive and arrested a 29-year-old Fort Collins man on suspicion of careless driving and driving while ability impaired.
10:53 p.m. Officers made a traffic stop at U.S. 40 and Ingles Lane and issued a summons for minor in possession to a person with unopened cans of beer.
11:51 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a car that slid off Routt County Road 14 and damaged a fence.
