2 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a lost jacket with an iPod in it at a bar in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue.

7:48 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a dog loose on Après Ski Way.

10:19 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a suspicious five-gallon barrel near Routt County Road 129 and Neptune Place. The barrel did not contain hazardous materials.

12:39 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a dog loose on 13th Street.

1:01 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who needed a ride in Ski Time Square.

2:40 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash on Mount Werner Road.

2:55 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a mother reporting her two-year-old boy was missing in the 1000 block of Crawford Avenue. Officers found the child with his father, who took the boy to run errands.

3:48 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a dog loose in the 1700 block of Saddle Creek Court.

4:18 p.m. Officers were called to help Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders with a nine-year-old boy who was stuck in snow on a hill on Natches Way.

5:12 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash on U.S. Highway 40 and Indian Trails. Officers issued a ticket for following too closely.

5:30 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a BB gun stolen from a yard in the 57000 block of Golden Tide Place in Clark.

5:51 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a car that slid off the road near the James Brown Soul Center of the Universe Bridge.

6:06 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a couple arguing in Steamboat Springs. Police mediated the situation.

6:15 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of horses loose in the 2000 block of Shield Drive. The horses were put back.

6:51 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a dog that bit another dog in the 21000 block of West Whitewood Drive.

6:54 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a lost wallet with about $500 in cash somewhere downtown.

7:07 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a lost wallet with about $220 in cash somewhere downtown.

7:13 p.m. Officers were called to a report of elk grazing near Dream Island Plaza and U.S. 40.

7:19 p.m. Officers were called to a report of skis lost in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle.

7:50 p.m. Officers were called to a report of hospital staff that found a handgun in a patient’s property at Yampa Valley Medical Center. The gun was turned over to police for safekeeping. Officers were told the handgun was brought to the hospital accidentally.

8:18 p.m. Officers were called to a report of four suspicious men in the 2600 block of Copper Ridge Circle.

8:48 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken person in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. Officers could not find the person.

8:53 p.m. Deputies arrested a 38-year-old Hayden woman on suspicion of charges related to domestic violence in Hayden.

9:46 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a car that hit an elk near mile marker 23 on Colorado Highway 131. The driver was fine, and the elk was dead.

10:47 p.m. Officers were called to a man making suicidal threats in Steamboat.
