Registration open for Steamboat's Ride 4 Yellow

— Registration opened today for the second annual Ride 4 Yellow event, and if the first go-around was any indication, riders might want to sign up soon.

The Steamboat Springs event is set for Aug. 5 to 7, and the signature event, a 20-mile ride on the Continental Divide Trail, is again expected to be headlined by Lance Armstrong.

That ride is limited to 200 participants, and again requires cyclists raise $500 to fight cancer.

Last year’s event raised more than $250,000, half of that money going to local causes. The Continental Divide ride filled up months before the event.
