12:14 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a taxi driver who was concerned about an intoxicated man who the driver dropped off at his home in the 2900 block of West Acres Drive. The man would not come to the door when officers arrived, but he was heard yelling at his dogs.

1:52 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a man driving a taxi without a taxi license. Officers contacted the driver, who had a license.

6:57 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a bull elk running toward Soda Creek Elementary School in downtown Steamboat Springs.

7:19 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a traffic light not cycling properly at Elk River Road and U.S. Highway 40.

7:59 a.m. Officers helped a driver on Mount Werner Road.

8:01 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash at U.S. 40 and Anglers Drive. A car slid into another car while making a turn, and the driver was issued a ticket.

8:30 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash at Amethyst Drive and Fish Creek Falls Road. A ticket was issued.

9:04 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a bus that hit a snowbank while making a turn at Mount Werner Road and Central Park Drive. No damage was reported.

9:09 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash at Tamarack Drive and Hilltop Parkway.

9:10 a.m. A two-car, noninjury crash was reported in the 200 block of Anglers Drive. The people involved filed a report at the police station.

11:23 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a snowplow that ran a stop sign at U.S. 40 and Anglers Drive.

12:13 p.m. Community service officers were called to a report of numerous cars parked incorrectly at Seventh Street and Lincoln Avenue.

12:43 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who threatened to shoot a neighbor’s dogs in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza.

1:05 p.m. Officers helped Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders with an 18-year-old man who was injured while working in a kitchen in the 1000 block of Yampa Street. The man was transported to the hospital with injuries not thought to be life-threatening.

1:40 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a counterfeit $100 bill found from a grocery store deposit at a bank in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue.

3:47 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a suspicious car in Steamboat II. Officers could not find the car.

4:10 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a stolen iPod in the 400 block of Main Street in Yampa.

4:31 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a child custody dispute in the 1000 block of Central Park Drive. Officers helped mediate the situation.

7:07 p.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a person in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue.

7:57 p.m. Officers helped a driver with a flat tire at U.S. 40 and High Point Drive.

8:52 p.m. Officers were called to a report of snow blocking an alley in the 200 block of Sixth Street. Public works was contacted.

8:59 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person mad about a tow company driver placing a sticker on the windshield of the person’s car in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue.
