Separate sealed BIDS for the 2011 STRIPING PROJECT will be received by the City of Steamboat Springs at City Hall Offices, 137 10th Street, PO Box 775088, Steamboat Springs, CO 80477, until 1:00 PM prevailing time on March 17, 2011, when bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the deadline or delivered to the wrong location will be returned to the Bidder unopened.

The WORK is located on various City streets, within City limits and consists of furnishing and applying approximately 2,000 gallons of pavement marking paint with beads. Materials shall meet the Colorado Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction.

The BID DOCUMENTS may be obtained from Anne Small, Purchasing/Contracts & Risk Manger, (970) 879-8249 on or after March _, 2011.

The PURCHASING/CONTRACTS & RISK MANAGER will maintain a planholders list.

A BID BOND in the amount of 5 percent of the BID AMOUNT is required if the project amount is in excess of $50,000.00. PERFORMANCE and PAYMENT BONDS in the amount of 100 percent of the CONTRACT AMOUNT will be required if the project amount is in excess of $50,000.00.

The City of Steamboat Springs reserves the right to reject any and all bids and proposals and enter into a contract or issue a purchase order which, in its opinion, best serves the needs of the City of Steamboat Springs and its citizens
