12:36 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a disturbance at Mount Werner Circle and Après Ski Way. Police determined it was just people being loud in the roundabout, and they had dispersed.
3:43 a.m. Police were called to a report of people playing loud music in a parking lot the 2000 block of Walton Creek Road. Everything was quiet when officers arrived.
8:48 a.m. Police were called to a car versus deer accident on Routt County Road 129. The car left the scene, and the deer was critically injured. Police had to remove the deer from the road and kill it.
9:01 a.m. Police were called to a complaint about an animal in the first block of Park Avenue.
9:03 a.m. Police were called to a report of a dog at large in the 3600 block of Lincoln Avenue. No one was able to catch the dog.
9:36 a.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to a report of smoke in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue. Someone had left a curling iron on a piece of plastic and it began smoking. There was no fire.
10:20 a.m. Police were called a report of juveniles playing on the ski jumps at Howelsen Hill. Officer issued a warning.
10:23 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of harassment in the 27000 block of Winchester Trail.
11 a.m. Police were called to a two-car noninjury crash in the 2000 block of Curve Plaza.
11:07 a.m. Police were called to a report of graffiti in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue.
1:35 p.m. Police were called to a report of a theft of $60 in cash from a hotel room in the 1000 block of Walton Creek Road.
2:06 p.m. Police were called to the first block of Anglers Drive where someone had questions about a restraining order.
4:21 p.m. Police were called to a hit and run car crash in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. Officers issued a ticket for careless driving to the woman who last week hit a pedestrian in the same parking lot.
4:23 p.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue were called to an ambulance request for an elderly woman who had fallen and was transported to Yampa Valley Medical Center.
7:04 p.m. Police were called to a two-car noninjury crash in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue.
10:03 p.m. Deputies pulled over a 23-year-old Steamboat Springs woman in the first block of Anglers Drive because she was driving a defective vehicle. She was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, DUI per se and defective vehicle. Police assisted on the call.

4:21 p m ....another hit and run for her. What is it going to take to get this woman off of the road? She hit a woman last week in the same parking lot, someone is not paying attention.

Forget the speeders and crazies barrelling down the pass, and what's a little hit-and-run? The real menace to this town is the dopers, now that they think they are legal, (they weren't a problem before) and we should borrow money from the Chinese, if we have to, to catch every damn last one of 'em, driving if they dare, even obeying all the other laws. Damn hippies, the world is going to crap.
If my tongue-in-cheek is not apparent, I'm a better writer than I thought!!
