Separate sealed BIDS for the construction of PRV PL-4 REPLACEMENT, June 2011, will be received by the OWNER at the office of the ENGINEER, CIVIL DESIGN CONSULTANTS, INC., 2145 Resort Drive, Suite 100, Steamboat Springs, CO 80487 (970) 879-3022 until 3:00 PM prevailing time on 13 July, 2011, and then at said location publicly opened and read aloud.

The WORK generally includes the installation of approximately 60 LF of 8" DIP water main, associated valving and fittings, setting and connection of District purchased PRV, pavement removal and replacement, and other related appurtenances.

Award will be made to the BIDDER which best serves the interests of the OWNER, at the sole discretion and interpretation by the Owner.

The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined or, upon payment of $50.00 that is NON REFUNDABLE, obtained at the office of the ENGINEER and will be available on or after June 27, 2011.

The ENGINEER will maintain a plan holder's list.

A mandatory Pre-Bid meeting on 8 July 2011 at 10:00 AM is required.

A BID GUARANTY in the amount of 5 percent of the BID AMOUNT is required. PERFORMANCE and PAYMENT BONDS in the amount of 100 percent of the CONTRACT AMOUNT will be required.
