3:37 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a complaint about an animal in the 300 block of Fourth Street.

4:35 a.m. Officers were called to a complaint about an animal in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue. Officers found an unattended dog and returned it to its owner, who was issued a warning.

7:20 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a Ford Mustang doing doughnuts in the 2400 block of Pine Grove Road. Officers could not find the car.

7:22 a.m. Officers and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to a report of a fire alarm in the 1000 block of Walton Creek Road. Police said smoke from burnt food set off the alarm.

7:31 a.m. Steamboat Fire Rescue and Oak Creek Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to a report of a structure fire near Sierra View in Oak Creek. It was a false report.

8:44 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious car in the 1800 block of Kamar Plaza. No other information was available.

8:47 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a burglary alarm in the 2300 block of Ski Trail Lane. When officers arrived, the residence was secured and no intruder was detected.

10:16 a.m. Division of Wildlife officers were called to a report of wildlife in the 28000 block of Routt County Road 37 near Hayden.

10:27 a.m. Officers and Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a stolen dirt bike in the 600 block of Yahmonite Road. A man reported that his vintage Suzuki dirt bike was stolen from his residence.

11:24 a.m. Officers were called to a report of three or four teenagers sliding down the 50 meter ski jump on Howelsen Hill on cardboard boxes. They were gone when officers arrived.

1:13 p.m. Deputies and Steamboat Fire Rescue were called to a report of a car fire near mile marker 141 on U.S. Highway 40. It was a false report.

3:17 p.m. Officers were called to a report of harassment in Steamboat. No criminal charges were filed.

5:04 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious car on 10th Street. No other information was available.

5:09 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a burglary alarm in the 2500 block of Windward Way. Police said it was a false alarm.

6:00 p.m. Deputies helped a driver near mile marker 142 on U.S. 40.

6:26 p.m. Officers and firefighters were called to a report of a fire alarm in the 700 block of Anglers Pond Road. Police said burnt pizza had set off a smoke detector.

6:52 p.m. Deputies were called to a complaint about an animal near mile marker 126 on U.S. 40.

8:50 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a suspicious incident in Milner. The caller reported a group of people hosting a bonfire. The fire was out when deputies arrived.

10:10 p.m. Officers were called to a complaint about noise in the 1300 block of Hilltop Parkway.

10:44 p.m. Police and DOW officers were called to a report of a bear in the 300 block of Pearl Street. Callers reported that a bear was getting into a trash can and chewing on a grill before knocking it over. The bear was gone when officers arrived.
