12:15 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of screaming and yelling on Eighth Street.

12:26 a.m. Police were called to a report of domestic violence. Police mediated an argument between a man and a woman.

3:35 a.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue were called to a request for an ambulance on Homestead Court. A 55-year-old woman who was experiencing pain was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center.

4:11 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue was dispatched to a fire alarm in the 1200 block of Turning Leaf Court.

7:08 a.m. Police were called to a report of theft of a mountain bike valued at $75 in the 300 block of South Lincoln Avenue. The bike was recovered shortly after and returned to its owner.

8:24 a.m. Police were called to a report of a one-car, noninjury crash in the 2500 block of Lincoln Avenue. A driver rolled his or her car into a business and broke some windows.

9:01 a.m. Police were called to a report of a dead dog in the 200 block of Hilltop Parkway. Officers notified the dog’s owner and took it to the Steamboat Springs Animal Shelter.

10:33 a.m. Police were called to a report of a hit-and-run crash at Sixth Street and Lincoln Avenue. One car hit the mirror of another car. Officers couldn’t find the car that left the scene.

10:56 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of animal bites.

12:44 p.m. Hayden Police Department officers were called to a juvenile situation. Two girls, ages 5 and 7, had a disagreement about a lunchbox.

1:01 p.m. Police were called to a complaint about a truck in the 600 block of Pine Street. A person complained that fumes from a diesel truck that was left running were entering a window in their home.

1:14 p.m. Deputies and Hayden police were called to a report of three horses on C.R. 51.

1:15 p.m. Deputies and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue were dispatched to a fire alarm in the 31500 block of Quarry Ridge Road. It was a false alarm caused by a system malfunction.

1:30 p.m. Deputies were called to help a driver at mile marker 4 on C.R. 129.

2:36 p.m. Police were called to a report of two pit bulls loose in the 100 block of Boulder Ridge Road. The dogs were taken to the animal shelter.

2:54 p.m. Colorado State Patrol troopers were called to a two-car, noninjury crash in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza. A driver backed into a police patrol car.

3:44 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue was dispatched to a fire alarm in the 36100 block of Quarry Road. It was a false alarm caused by a system malfunction.

4:28 p.m. Police were called to a report of phone harassment in Steamboat.

4:39 p.m. Division of Wildlife officers were called to a report of a bear in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. Youths on skateboards chased the bear cub before DOW officers arrived and coaxed it back to Fish Creek. They issued the youths a warning.

4:46 p.m. Hayden police and West Routt Fire Protection District emergency responders were called to a request for an ambulance in the 100 block of Sonesta Park. A woman, who delivered her baby at home with the assistance of a midwife, was taken to YVMC. She was fine.

6:32 p.m. Police were called to a suspicious incident in the 700 block of Walton Pond Circle. A person’s car window was broken the day before.

7:08 p.m. Police were called to a report of a dog biting a child’s leg near West End Avenue.

8:05 p.m. DOW officers were called to a report of a bear at Dream Island Plaza and U.S. Highway 40.

8:19 p.m. Deputies arrested a 40-year-old Clark man on suspicion of habitual driving under restriction in the 42000 block of C.R. 129.

8:19 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a crash at mile marker 54 on Colorado Highway 131. A driver hit a deer.

8:25 p.m. Deputies were called to help a person in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue.

9:50 p.m. DOW officers were called to a report of a bear in the 1300 block of Lincoln Avenue.

10:51 p.m. Police were called to a juvenile situation in the 200 block of Park Avenue. A person thought a group of juveniles was smoking marijuana because they were coughing. Offices contacted the juveniles, who were playing Frisbee, and asked them to leave.

11:38 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a suspicious car at mile marker 1 on C.R. 38.

11:43 p.m. Police were called to a request for an officer in the 2700 block of Downhill Plaza because a person was smoking outside. The person was gone when officers arrived.

11:51 p.m. Police were called to a complaint that a car was pulling a trailer without lights at mile marker 142 on U.S. 40. Officers couldn’t find the car.
