Steamboat city manager back full time

Steamboat Springs — Steamboat Springs City Manager Jon Roberts has returned to his position full time, according to a news release the city sent out today.
Roberts was unconscious for eight days with a traumatic brain injury and significant bodily wounds after he crashed Jan. 2 during what he called “just a simple ski run” at Steamboat Ski Area.
Roberts remained in Denver for several months during his recovery, which was faster than expected. Deputy City Manager Wendy DuBord served as acting city manager in his absence. Roberts came back part time for several weeks until the end of May, when he returned full time to Steamboat Springs and to his city manager position, according to the release.
"It is wonderful to be back in Steamboat Springs amongst my colleagues at work and amongst my friends in the community,” Roberts said in the release.
