REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL #228

ALTERNATIVE DESIGN REPLACEMNT OPTIONS FOR

BRIDGES #951 (CHICKEN CREEK) & #952 (SLATER CREEK)

ROUTT COUNTY, COLORADO

The Routt County Board of County Commissioners is soliciting offers to provide alternative design replacement options and engineering cost estimates for design alternatives for Routt County Bridge #951 (Chicken Creek) and Bridge #952 (Slater Creek).

Specifications are available from the Routt County Purchasing Agent, Marti Hamilton at mhamilton@co.routt.co.us or 970-870-5316 or from the Routt County website under purchasing http://www.co.routt.co.us.

Sealed proposals must be received at the Routt County Board of County Commissioners Office, 522 Lincoln Ave, P.O. Box 773598, Steamboat Springs, CO. 80477 no later than 1:00 p.m. MST Tuesday, August 16, 2011.

All proposal envelopes should be clearly marked "RFP- Design Bridges #951 & #952"

There will be a mandatory pre-proposal meeting onsite at the Slater Creek Bridge on County Road 1W Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at 1:00pm. Attendance is required to submit a bid response on this project.

Routt County reserves the right to reject any or all proposal responses and to waive informalities and minor irregularities in proposal responses received, and to accept any portion of the proposal response whichever is deemed to be in the best interest of Routt County.
