Vacation Bible school

The Colorado Beef Council is looking for teachers to help write lessons at the Food Land and People workshop. This workshop is an all-expenses-paid trip with spending money, Aug. 4 to 6 in St. Louis. Teachers will be asked to write lessons that meet state standards across the country. The program is similar to Project Wild or Project Learning Tree. Hayden Daze this week
Hayden Daze will be next weekend. Festivities start at 6 p.m. Friday, with a barbecue at Hayden Town Park. Goodies will be provided by Brothers’ Processing and the Red Rooster. A live band will play until midnight. On Saturday, check out the dunk tank, climbing wall and inflatables, along with the arts and crafts. The fun all starts at noon with a barbecue with C’s Catering and live music.
Hayden History Day
The Hayden Heritage Center and Colorado Northwestern Community College will have a Hayden History Day at the museum from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday. Then on July 21, you can learn about the Utes of Northwest Colorado at the museum from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. There will be a field trip to Meeker.
