The Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club Alpine team showed consistency and strength across multiple age groups during the weekend.
The Steamboat contingent picked up multiple wins in a Winter Park Surefoot Speed Series event that started Thursday and continued through Saturday.
In the super G overall, Sam Glaisher finished first, with Shane McLean in second and Natalie Pearl in fourth. Nick Veth placed first in the event in the J2 category.
In a second super G event, Glaisher again placed first, with Scott Ptach in fifth.
In a downhill event, Jeanne Barthold placed third overall with Veth in second and Tyler Theis in third in the J2 division.
Glaisher was second in the super combined, McLean was third and Pearl was fifth.
In the Steamboat J4 super G event Saturday and Sunday, the Winter Sports Club won the overall title, highlighted by multiple top finishes.
In the first boys race, Jett Seymour paced Steamboat with a sixth-place finish. Elliot Ryan was eighth, and Will McConnell was 10th. Logan Sankey led the girls with a sixth-place finish, while Jennie Symons was seventh.
In the second boys race, McConnell was fifth, Ryan was eighth and Seymour was ninth. Sankey led the girls with a fourth-place finish.
In the Sunlight J5 Festival on Sunday, Cole Puckett led the boys with a fourth-place finish, and Anders Brockway was sixth.
In the first girls race, Amber Elliot led the way with a sixth-place finish, while Margaret Dickson was seventh. In the second girls race, Dickson was fifth and Delaney Pratt was ninth.
