Steamboat Springs’ Jeremy Cota picked up his first World Cup moguls podium Saturday in Lake Placid, N.Y.

Cota finished behind France’s Colas Guilbaut and Canada’s Aleandre Bildoeau.

“I felt good going into today,” Cota said in a U.S. Ski Team release. “I skied really well last weekend and have made some steps in my skiing.”

Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club members Pat Deneen and Ryan Dyer were 11th and 16th. Dyer is a recent addition to the U.S. Ski Team.

On the women’s side, Steamboat’s Eliza Outtrim just missed the podium, finishing fifth. Brittany Loweree was 24th.
