Steamboat Springs — The Soroco High School girls basketball team used a huge offensive performance Friday night to down Plateau Valley, 73-31.
Michaela Meyer scored 18 points and grabbed nine rebounds. Ceanna Rossi had 16 points and 8 rebounds, and Madison George scored 12.
“We played really well as a team and got off to a great start,” Soroco coach David Bruner said. “That’s the most points we’ve scored as a team in the three years I’ve been here.”
The team plays at 2:30 p.m. today at West Grand.
