Steamboat city manager moved out of intensive care Sunday

Steamboat Springs Steamboat Springs City Manager Jon Roberts has been moved out of intensive care and placed in the progressive care unit at Denver Health medical center, his wife, LeAnn Roberts, said Sunday. Jon Roberts suffered a traumatic brain injury, three broken ribs, a broken bone under his left eye and a separated left shoulder in a Jan. 2 accident at Steamboat Ski Area.
LeAnn Roberts said staff has upgraded his condition from “critical” to “serious” as he continues the long recovery process. Jon Roberts is communicating and undergoing physical therapy.
