Steamboat Springs Senior guards Graig Medvesk and Ben Williams rained down 3-point shots Saturday to help the Hayden boys basketball team past North Park. The Tigers won, 77-45.
Medvesk finished with 24 points and six treys, and Williams had 20 and four.
“They probably only played half the game,” Hayden coach Mike Luppes said. “They had outstanding shooting nights. They got really good looks, and they didn’t miss many.”
Hayden was up 24-7 after the first quarter and never stopped rolling.
Brandon Ray added 7 points, and Hunter Johnston and Mark Doolin each had 5. Josh Hines led the team with six rebounds.
“It was as fun as it could get,” Luppes said. “We definitely had the better team, and we got to play a lot of kids.”
