Steamboat Springs The Steamboat Symphony Orchestra is offering a cello technique master class with John Sant’Ambrogio from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday in Library Hall at Bud Werner Memorial Library. Bring your cello for a group lesson on fundamental techniques. Sant’ Ambrogio played with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and Casals Festival Orchestra and was principal cellist with the St. Louis Symphony for 37 years. Cellists and observers are welcome. Aging Well offers 2 free senior wellness clinics
Aging Well will host two free senior wellness clinics. The first clinic is from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Monday at Selbe Senior Apartments. The second is from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Steamboat Springs Community Center. A registered nurse will check blood pressure and other vital signs and answer questions. Tai Chi for Health class starts Tuesday in Hayden
Aging Well is starting a new Tai Chi I for Health class in Hayden with the first session from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Haven Community Center. The class will teach the basics of tai chi, which incorporates gentle, flowing movements that enhance breathing, balance, posture and flexibility. There is a suggested $3 donation for each class. VNA still offering children, teen meningitis vaccines
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other leading medical groups recommend meningococcal vaccine for: preteens and teens 11 through 18 years old, College freshmen living in dormitories, and children ages 2 to 10 who are at increased risk or if elected by their health care providers and parents.

Steamboat Art Museum shop seeks local pieces
The Steamboat Art Museum gift shop is seeking work by local artists and craftspeople. The shop sells artist work on a consignment basis. Proceeds help support the art museum. Unframed paintings, prints, drawings or photography as well as hand-crafted works such as jewelry, pottery, textiles and high-quality craft items are welcome.
