12:35 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers witnessed a car accidentally hit an owl at Ninth Street and Lincoln Avenue. The owl died.

3:54 a.m. Officers advised a truck driver parked on the side of the road to move the truck.

4:40 a.m. Officers were called to help Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders with a carbon monoxide alarm in the 600 block of Meadowbrook Circle.

8:23 a.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a person in the 3000 block of Village Drive.

9:16 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash on Moraine Circle. Officers issued a ticket.

9:40 a.m. Animal control officers were called to a report of two dogs loose on Routt County Road 16 in Oak Creek.

10 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to help emergency responders with a 30-year-old man who broke a bone in Clark.

10:07 a.m. Animal control officers were called to a report of a barking dog at Lo­gan Avenue and Larimer Street. Offi­cers issued a warning.

10:19 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash at Steamboat Springs High School.

10:26 a.m. Officers were called to a report of equipment and supplies missing from a restaurant in the 600 block of Marketplace Plaza. Officers think the owners removed the equipment from the store.

11:13 a.m. Animal control officers were called to a report of a dog loose in the 27000 block of Brandon Circle.

11:17 a.m. Deputies called emergency responders with a 66-year-old man who slipped on the ice and hit his head in Steamboat Springs.

5:01 p.m. Community service officers were called to a complaint about an animal on River Road. Officers issued a warning.

7:21 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a former employee at a hotel in the 1000 block of Walton Creek Road who was suspected of making harassing phone calls.

8:58 p.m. Officers were called to an complaint about an animal in the 2800 block of Riverside Plaza. Officers could not find the animal.

9:03 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a lost drivers license.

10:09 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an intoxicated pedestrian at Après Ski Way and Village Drive.

10:24 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a shuttle driver who left a shuttle running outside in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive, and someone took the shuttle. Officers found the van undamaged outside a hotel on Mount Werner Circle and are still investigating the incident.

11:08 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a car that slid off Colorado Highway 131 near mile marker 40, about three miles north of Yampa.
