12:35 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers tagged an abandoned vehicle in the 1500 block of Lincoln Avenue.

12:35 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to a report of a house fire in the Grouse Creek Park subdivision off Colorado Highway 131. Fire from a wood-burning stove burned through trusses and destroyed part of the roof over the living area, but it didn’t extend to any other parts of the home.

1:05 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of people arguing over music being played on a karaoke machine in the 60000 block of Routt County Road 129 in Hahn’s Peak.

3:48 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that slid off Mount Werner Road.

7:41 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash at Eighth and Oak Streets.

8:34 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a car that broke down near mile marker 115 on U.S. Highway 40.

10:13 a.m. Animal control officers were called to a report of a pit bull in a garage in the 1900 block of Fish Creek Falls Road.

12:43 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a fraudulent phone call a man’s mother received in the 800 block of Yampa Street.

1:11 p.m. Officers were called to a report of identity theft and attempted fraud in the 1500 block of Shadow Run Court.

1:13 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash in the 1100 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

1:37 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a Greyhound bus that sideswiped a Volkswagen in the 600 block of Snapdragon Way.

5:02 p.m. Officers were called to a report of juveniles who stole chicken and a candy bar in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. The juveniles were placed in custody and released to their parents.

6:14 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a tree that had recently been removed and exposed electrical wires were shocking people. Yampa Valley Electric Association was contacted to address the problem.

6:46 p.m. Officers helped emergency responders with a 57-year-old woman having a seizure on Steamboat Boulevard.

7:26 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a motorist needing assistance at U.S. 40 and Walton Creek Road.
