Steamboat Springs ■ 8:30 p.m. today: Rams (3-9) at Hayden (14-1)
■ 4 p.m. Saturday: Rams vs. Meeker (11-4)
The Soroco boys face perhaps the toughest stretch of a schedule that’s already left the young team bruised. This weekend the Rams travel to face two of the top teams in the league. To win or even show well against Hayden, one of state’s best, and Meeker, one of the league’s best, Soroco will have to take care of the ball better and knock down open shots, especially from behind the 3-point line.

■ 7 p.m. today: Rams (7-4) at Hayden (13-3)
■ 2:30 p.m. Saturday: Rams at Meeker (11-3)
Soroco slipped in the league standings after losing back-to-back games late last month. The Rams have taken care of business since, winning three straight and dispatching those opponents by an average margin of 21 points. The Rams have been eager to get another shot at Hayden after playing well against the Tigers for only half of their previous meeting. Soroco will have its hands full Saturday, as well, against Meeker. The Rams could give their district tournament seed a huge boost by emerging from the weekend with two wins.
