Steamboat Springs — The Steamboat Springs High School boys basketball team (10-7) will try to extend a three-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. today at home against Battle Mountain (10-7). The Sailors beat the Huskies, 53-32, in January, thanks in large part to winning the first quarter, 15-2. Battle Mountain has played better recently and enters tonight with an identical record and on its own three-game winning streak.
Steamboat plays at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Eagle Valley (5-13), a rematch of a game Steamboat won last month, 66-51.
