Anyone else notice that only 9 of the 40 dates listed falls within the last 48 years. I'll let all you nutjobs who like to argue about global warming take that one and run with it. Have Fun!!!

A couple of remembered whoppers from the Liars Club: It was so cold that,

I had to climb up the roof and break the smoke off my chimney.

I shoveled out my fireplace and the fire on the remnants of the logs froze on the ground. When spring came the fire thawed out and started the grass in my yard ablaze.

I had to break my dog free from a fire plug.

I couldn't go outside and do anything, so I just spent a week sharpening my knife. It got so sharp that the shadow of it accidentally cut off my dog's tail.

Serious question: Would a thermometer in 1908 be calibrated to the same accuracy standards as today?
