Steamboat Springs — The Steamboat Springs High School hockey team (2-3) struck early, but it couldn’t make a first-period lead last Saturday night in a game on the road against Resurrection Christian, falling 3-2.
Jarret Walt scored first for the Sailors, and Matt Hale scored two minutes later. Resurrection managed one goal in response in the first period, then added one each in the second and third periods.
