9:52 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a car that almost sideswiped another car at 13th Street and Lincoln Avenue. It could not be found.

10:06 a.m. Officers helped Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters with a 21-year-old man who had a back injury on Second Street. He was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center.

11:18 a.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a woman in the first block of Anglers Drive. She was fine.

1:12 p.m. Officers were called to a report of fraud in Steamboat. Two people reported unauthorized charges on their credit cards.

3:22 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a disturbance in Milner. Two brothers had gotten into a fight, and one of them drove toward Steamboat. His car was stopped at Elk River Road and U.S. Highway 40. The 23-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and driving under revocation.

3:58 p.m. Officers were called to a report of two children playing on ice at West Lincoln Park.

4:21 p.m. Officers stopped a car at Pine Grove Road and U.S. 40 and arrested a 49-year-old Steamboat man on suspicion of being a fugitive of justice.

4:21 p.m. Officers were called to a report of dogs loose in the 1800 block of Hunters Court.

4:31 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a noninjury accident on Steamboat Drive. A car hit mailboxes.

5:21 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who thought he or she had lost keys in the alley between Seventh and Eighth streets. The keys were found.

5:49 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a drunken driver in the 35700 block of U.S. 40.

7:01 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car stuck in the 1100 block of South Lincoln Avenue on a private road. It was gone when officers arrived.

7:02 p.m. Officers stopped a driver at Third and Oak streets and issued a ticket for driving under restraint.

10:50 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a man who called 911 and hung up in the 3700 block of Lincoln Avenue. Officers searched a mobile home park and found a man having an asthma attack. He refused medical treatment and was given a citation for possessing less than 2 ounces of marijuana.
