Separate sealed BIDS for the Tennis Center Parking Lot Improvements Project will be received by the OWNER at the CITY OF STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, 137 10th Street, P.O. Box 775088, Steamboat Springs, CO 80477, (970) 879-2060, until 3:00 PM prevailing time on September 12, 2011 and then publicly read aloud. Bids received after the deadline will be returned to the Bidder unopened.

The WORK includes resurfacing an existing asphalt parking lot and installing a two foot and four foot wide concrete valley pan to aid in drainage conveyance at the Steamboat Springs Tennis Center. The work also includes constructing a concrete dumpster pad in the same location of the existing gravel dumpster pad.

The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be obtained at the City Hall Offices, 137 10th St., Steamboat Springs, Colorado, from the Purchasing Division, (970) 871-8249 on or after August 29, 2011.

The Purchasing Division will maintain a planholders list.

A BID BOND in the amount of 5 percent of the BID AMOUNT is required if the project amount is in excess of $50,000.00. PERFORMANCE and PAYMENT BONDS in the amount of 100 percent of the CONTRACT AMOUNT will be required if the project amount is in excess of $50,000.00.

The City of Steamboat Springs reserves the right to reject any and all bids and proposals and enter into a contract or issue a purchase order which, in its opinion, best serves the needs of the City of Steamboat Springs and its citizens.
