Swiggart wins in doubles and grabs 2nd in singles

Steamboat Springs — Rising Steamboat Springs High School senior Jamey Swiggart made it to the finals in singles play and won the doubles championship at the USTA Intermountain Tennis Association’s Summer Sizzler Sectional Championship last weekend.
Swiggart and partner Jordan Lyden, from Idaho, won the doubles championship, 8-6, against Tanner Berkabile and Max McCoy.
In singles action, Swiggart defeated his first four opponents before losing in the finals to Colin Haas.
