The Deckler family traveled to Nebraska for a family vacation and to visit family and friends. The weather was extremely hot and they are glad to be home.

Joel Wixson and girlfriend Christy Anderson, from Gainesburg, Fla., were in to visit with his family, Jeannie and George Wixson, and Grandma Mary.

Kelbee Raye Manzanares was born to Leslie (Koler) and Tyler Manzanares at 6:59 a.m. Aug. 9, 2011. She weighed 8 pounds and 0.5 ounces and was 20 inches long. Paternal grandparents are Ray and Barbary Manzanares, and maternal grandparents are Debbie and Bill Koler.


Don’t forget to attend the Farmers Market in Hayden from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Fridays at the granary.

There still is time to sign up for the Homesteading class being offered by CNCC. The class is from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Hayden Heritage Museum. Students will then travel to the Josie Bassett ranch near Dinosaur on Friday. Call Lindsay at 970-276-7291.
