Steamboat Springs 11:50 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a man causing a disturbance at a business in the 2600 block of Copper Ridge Drive. The man was warned not to return.
3:56 p.m. Officers were called to a report of water running over U.S. Highway 40 near mile marker 130.
4:25 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a car with multiple people hanging out of the windows on Routt County Road 44A. Deputies were unable to locate the car.
5:23 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of part of C.R. 44C having been washed out by flood water.
5:43 p.m. Officers were called to a report of check fraud in the 300 block of Third Street.
5:54 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a stolen cell phone in the 700 block of Walton Pond Circle.
6:57 p.m. Officers were called to a report of flooding in the 3700 block of Lincoln Avenue.
7:12 p.m. Officers helped the Routt County coroner with a 54-year-old woman found dead in the first block of Anglers Drive. Authorities suspect she died of natural causes.
7:39 p.m. Officers issued a summons to a man for stealing a bottle of garlic powder from a grocery store in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.
7:49 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a car illegally passing other cars on U.S. 40 near the base of Rabbit Ears Pass. Deputies were unable to find the car.
7:58 p.m. Deputies were called to check on a family that had not returned from Denver. The family was contacted.

Well, that you knew it was coming.
Due to the increased number of flooding incidents, Police Chief Rae recommends that water be banned from roads.
