Steamboat had one player advance to Saturday’s play. Rachelle Steele-Cerone lost her first match before winning an eight-game pro set to advance to Saturday’s third-place match.
At No. 1 singles, Christi Valicenti won her first match but lost her second. Kira Lorenzen, filling in at No. 3 singles, lost both of her matches.
The No. 1 doubles team of Lauren Siegel and Ali Diehl, the No. 2 doubles team of Kaitie Briesch and Ellie Bender, and the No. 3 doubles team of Alli Lowrie and Rachel Grubbs all went 1-1 on the day.
The No. 4 doubles team of Maria Hillenbrand and Summer Smalley lost both of its matches.
