The Hayden Town Council will recognize Beth Sundberg and Judge Steve Frasier for their services to the town on Thursday. Since 1977, Beth served as the Town’s Municipal Court clerk, assisting several judges in the proceedings of the court, taking calls from people coming before the court, answering questions before and after trials and organizing the operations. Judge Frasier began his service for the Town’s Municipal Court in 1997 and held court twice monthly, handling cases and making decisions about municipal ordinances and traffic violations. After 34 years of dedicated service from Beth and 14 years from Judge Frasier, Town Council invites their friends, families and supporters to participate in their recognition at 7:30 p.m.

The annual Town Hall Easter Egg Hunt will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hayden Town Park on Third Street. Call Town Hall at 970-276-3741.

The Hayden Congregational Youth Group will prepare breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. Easter Sunday. Donations accepted.

The Oak Creek and Phippsburg Historical Society will have its Women’s High Tea from 2 to 4 p.m. May 1 at the Oak Creek Community Center. All women are invited to this social event that features tea and homemade snacks. Proceeds from a silent auction will go to the Historical Society. Call 970-736-8245.

Registration

Several summer programs are coming up for Totally Kids. If you have a child ages 4 to 7 interested in playing tee ball, the deadline to register is 5 p.m. Friday. Forms are available at Hayden Valley Elementary School. Coaches and volunteers are needed. Call Donna Bertram at 970-276-4213.

Hayden Parks and Recreation is taking registration for boys baseball. The deadline to sign up boys ages 8 to 14 is Friday. Call Kathy Hockett at 970-734-4168.

Assistance needed

The After Prom committee is looking for prizes and donations. If you can help, call Angela Letlow at 970-276-2001.
