1:33 a.m. A Steamboat Springs Police Department traffic stop at Hilltop Parkway and Sandhill Circle led to the arrest of a 28-year-old man on suspicion of driving under the influence, DUI per se and speeding.

9:10 a.m. Police were called to a report of a black and brown dog loose at Mountain Vista Circle and Eaglepointe Court. The dog was gone when officers arrived.

10:46 a.m. Police performed a civil standby for a person in the 200 block of Fifth Street who wanted to retrieve belongings from a house he or she had been kicked out of.

12:09 p.m. Police were called to a report of vandalism in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. A woman reported someone had slashed her tire.

1:23 p.m. Police were called to a report of someone receiving fraudulent emails in the 3100 block of Elk River Road.

1:33 p.m. Police were called to investigate a person trying to buy a firearm in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza because of something that came up on his or her background check.

4:08 p.m. Police were called to a report of a gas skip of about $83 in the 500 block of South Lincoln Avenue. The car was not found.

8:56 p.m. Police were called to the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive, where they arrested a 33-year-old Morrison man on suspicion of DUI, DUI per se and careless driving.

9:50 p.m. Police, deputies and Colorado State Patrol troopers were called to a report of shots fired at U.S. Highway 40 and Dougherty Road. No more information was available.

11:47 p.m. Police were called to a report of a fight in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue. Police don’t know who was involved.
