Steamboat Springs The Steamboat Springs Boys & Girls Club is looking for bike helmets for children ages 6 to 12 years. The club also is looking for a retail display case and adult-size stacking chairs. Call Bonnie at 970-819-4797.
Booths are available for wedding expo in October
The Steamboat Springs Chamber Resort Association has booth space available for the 2010 Wedding Expo on Oct. 16 at the Depot Art Center. Booths are $100. They are $25 for caterers serving food and can be arranged by contacting Meagan Coates at meagan@steamboatchamber.com or at 970-875-7003.
VNA offers free cholesterol screenings by appointment
In recognition of National Cholesterol Awareness Month, Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association will offer free cholesterol screenings by appointment every Tuesday in September at 940 Central Park Drive, suite 101. In Craig, free screenings are every Friday at 745 Russell St. Call Karla to make an appointment at 970-875-1880.
The Haven Assisted Living offers adult day services
The Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association is offering adult day services at The Haven Assisted Living in Hayden, for any disabled individual older than age 18 or an elderly individual who is looking for daily activities where oversight is provided. Services are provided from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Meals, medication administration, activities, assistance with bathing and wellness assessments are available.
