— Five Routt County Search and Rescue volunteers helped a 77-year-old mountain biker find his way down the trail at Fish Creek Falls late Wednesday night. Incident Commander Jim Linville said the man, from the Idaho Springs area, was biking down from Buffalo Pass when he got delayed. He was reported overdue at about 7:15 p.m., and he called emergency services and provided his location once he was in cell phone range. Linville said the man did not seem to be injured or have a mechanical problem with his bike, but rather was tired and didn't have a light for the rocky remainder of the trail. Rescuers gave him food, water and light as they walked him to safety.
