Steamboat Brief: Creative Expressions class sessions kick off Sept. 15

Hospice of Northwest Colorado, a division of Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association, and the Steamboat Springs Arts Council will offer Creative Expressions: Exploring Life in the Midst of Change. It is an opportunity for people in Steamboat and the surrounding communities to move forward through times of change, find new perspectives, and transition into new beginnings. Participants will find a safe environment with an artist, a bereavement companion and a facilitator to explore change and express loss through imaginative play.
The sessions are from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays starting Sept. 15 at the Depot Art Center, 1001 13th St. This is a free drop-in program. Tax deductible donations are welcome. For more information, call Dr. Jo Anne Grace at 970-871-7617 or Denise Fasolino at 970-870-8888.
