DOW commission set to meet in Craig
Randy Hampton, a Colorado Division of Wildlife spokesman, said it is important for residents to attend Thursday’s Colorado Wildlife Commission meeting in Craig. “The wildlife commission doesn’t want to be a manage-from-Denver kind of commission, and that is the reason that they move these meetings around the state,” he said. “It gives people in outlying areas, especially in areas that are affected by wildlife management, an opportunity to participate and understand how that wildlife management takes place.” The meeting, which the wildlife commission hosts monthly in different locations, will focus on a wide variety of topics, according to a news release.
