Steamboat Springs 5:23 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a burglary alarm in the 500 block of South Lincoln Avenue. An employee accidentally set off the alarm.
7:22 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Colorado Division of Wildlife officers were called to a report of hunters trespassing in the 24000 block of Lone Tooth Trail near Oak Creek.
7:24 a.m. Police were called to a burglary alarm in the 1100 block of South Lincoln Avenue. An employee accidentally set off the alarm.
9:44 a.m. Police were called to a complaint about a utility truck dumping sand near the Stock Bridge Transit Center. Officers talked to the driver and warned him.
10:25 a.m. Police were called to a report of a suspicious incident at Steamboat Springs High School on East Maple Street.
10:38 a.m. Police were called to a cold report of a theft of $1,000 in cash from a business in the 2200 block of Village Inn Court.
11:04 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders and police were called to a report of a grass fire on the Spring Creek Trail behind the high school. The fire, burning next to a 20-foot stretch of trail, was extinguished by firefighters.
11:31 a.m. Hayden Police Department officers were called to a report of harassment in Hayden.
2:42 p.m. Deputies were called to a complaint about cattle on the road at Routt County roads 41 and 35. The cattle were gone when deputies arrived.
3:51 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of juveniles sending harassing text messages in the Steamboat Springs area.
3:53 p.m. Deputies were called to a complaint about a car passing unsafely near mile marker 98 at U.S. Highway 40. Deputies gave the person a ticket.
3:55 p.m. Police were called to a report of two people arguing about child custody on Anglers Drive.
4:18 p.m. Police were called to a report of an unattended car at River Queen Lane and Clubhouse Drive.
4:47 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of fraud in the 23000 block of C.R. 16. No more information was available.
5:52 p.m. Police were called to a complaint about a blue sports car driving aggressively at Mount Werner Road and South Lincoln Avenue. The driver reportedly was swearing at other people on the road. Officers gave the driver a warning.
6:10 p.m. Deputies were called to a complaint about a dog loose in the 22000 block of Fawn Creek Road. Deputies returned the dog to its owner.
6:20 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a trespasser in the 20000 block of C.R. 205, near Milner.
7:03 p.m. Police were called to a noise complaint in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive where a group of people reportedly was being loud. The party was moved to another location.
8:16 p.m. Police were called to a noise complaint at 13th and Evans streets. Officers determined it was a band practice and gave the musicians a verbal warning.
8:27 p.m. Police received a report of harassment. Officers determined it was a civil situation and mediated the disagreement.
8:29 p.m. Deputies were called to a car that hit a deer near mile marker 128 on U.S. 40. No people were injured.
9:20 p.m. Police were called to a report of a two people twirling fire batons in a parking lot in the 2400 block of Pine Grove Road.
10:37 p.m. Police were called to a request for an officer in the first block of Seventh Street where an underage person reportedly tried to use a fake ID. Officers gave the person a ticket.
11:15 p.m. Police were called to a report of a suspicious car in the 2000 block of Snowbowl Plaza. Officers gave the person a ticket for camping in a car within city limits.
Also: Officers on Friday reported that they are investigating two possible thefts from cars: A person reported a wallet possibly was lost or stolen from a car, and a desktop computer reportedly was stolen from another car.
