Steamboat briefs: Hayden Town Council to consider roadway work

Steamboat Springs — The Hayden Town Council is scheduled to consider accepting roadway improvements at the Lake Village subdivision tonight.
Approving a resolution to accept the improvements, which have been completed, would allow to town to issue certificates of occupancy on the completed homes.
The Town Council also will consider renewing the liquor license for A-1 Liquor and the 2011 lease proposal for the Hayden Speedway.
The meeting is scheduled to begin with staff and council member reports at 7 p.m. at Hayden Town Hall, 178 W. Jefferson Ave. The regular session is set to begin at 7:30 p.m.

Wild West Air Fest also to include automobile show
The Steamboat Car Club will have a car show Saturday and Sunday in conjunction with the Wild West Air Fest at Steamboat Springs Airport. There is no entry fee or membership required.
All vehicles are welcome, including cars, trucks, motorcycles, hot rods, vintage and more. Prizes will be awarded each day.
